What is car detailing?Car detailing is a deep clean and restoration, not a car wash. A wash rinses the outside. Detailing means the interior is vacuumed into every crevice, steam cleaned, wiped down and dressed, and the exterior is hand washed, decontaminated and sealed. It takes hours rather than minutes, and the result lasts.

How much does car detailing cost in St. John's?Every package and price is listed on our packages page, with no quote to wait for. An exterior wash and ceramic seal is a flat rate. Interior and full details are priced from a starting figure, because heavier soiling takes longer. Larger vehicles cost more, and the exact number for your vehicle is on screen while you book, before you confirm anything.

What is the difference between a car wash and car detailing?A car wash cleans the paint. Car detailing covers the whole vehicle inside and out, by hand, and deals with the things a wash cannot touch: salt in the carpets, stained upholstery, bonded contamination on the paint, cloudy headlights. Think of a wash as maintenance and a detail as a reset.

Do you come to me?Yes. Fully mobile, no shop. Driveway, workplace lot, wherever the vehicle sits. We bring all the gear and products. We do need an outside water tap and a plug we can reach at your location.

Do I need to provide anything?Just a driveway or private spot to work in, plus an outside water tap and a plug we can reach. We handle everything else.

Why does the price say starts at?Average condition is the base price. Heavy salt or staining takes longer, so we show you the difference at the vehicle first.

Winter salt in the carpets?That is our specialty on the Avalon. Salt extraction gets it out before it eats the fabric.

How do I pay?Nothing is due until the job is done and you have looked the vehicle over. Cash or e-transfer, whichever suits. If a first booking needs a small deposit to hold it, you will see it while you book and it comes straight off your total.

Can the price change after I book?Only with your agreement, and only before any work starts. If the vehicle is bigger or a lot dirtier than what was booked, we show you the difference at your vehicle and you decide. That is what "starts at" means on our interior and full details. A travel fee applies outside our area and is shown while you book. There are no other charges: no fuel levy, no supplies fee, no card fee.

Where do you go?No travel fee anywhere in the St. John's area or the surrounding communities. Further out we still come, there is just a small fee, quoted before you book.

What if the weather turns?Some services cannot be done safely in heavy rain or wind. If we need to move your appointment for weather, we just find you the next good day and your deposit carries over in full, no penalty.

Do I need to be home?No. As long as we can reach the vehicle and it is unlocked or the keys are handed off, you can be at work or out.

Can I change or cancel?Yes. Every confirmation includes a link to manage your booking, or use the Find my booking page with your reference number.
